Yesterday was very nice. Jon took me on a picnic at the place where we had our first date... the downside was that it was freezing and my feet got wet because it was a surprise and I wasn't wearing the right shoes (fake Converse sneakers from H&M), then he drew me a bubble bath at his house. It was a really relaxing nice one, and he made me a cd to listen to while I took the bath. It's very sweet. Even though all day Friday he made like he totally forgot it was Valentine's Day (he even said, "I'm really sorry... I completely forgot..."). And we saw Friday the 13th which I didn't like at all... I was just kinda bored and I didn't like any of the characters at all.
Today we got up late and watched the Addams Family, and now are watching the Addams Family Values with my mom. I think she loves these movies more than I ever did.
Oh btw: if anyone doesn't have Left 4 Dead on Steam yet, they're having a thing this weekend where it's $25. So I finally got it. My name on Steam is Sandy_Stitches... so if anyone has Left 4 Dead on PC, let me know. :D I'm not very good at it yet, but I'm getting there. And I love playing it. Jon and I have been switching off with it. :P
Another note: I will be performing tonight @ The Tank in NYC!!

So I haven't updated in awhile. Christmas has come and gone, I got a bunch of clothes from my store that I absolutely love (my Ed Hardy sweatpants are my favorite!!) and I got Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories for PS2 but I only played a few minutes of it. My dad got me a yellow sweater and him and his girlfriend got us 4 tickets (meaning, him, girlfriend, girlfriend's lame daughter, and myself) for the new broadway revival of West Side Story for March. Very cool, except if they were going to give me Broadway tickets, they could have maybe asked me what I would have wanted to see? Maybe? Don't get me wrong, I like West Side Story a whole lot, I have since I was a kid... but I just kinda feel like they probably went to Rachel, asked what she wanted to see and just got an extra ticket for me... But whatever. That's cool. My mom got me an iPod Touch, which is fantastic, and for watching my old neighbor's cat they gave me a $15 iTunes Giftcard as a bonus along with being paid. Jon got me one of the best presents, though. He made me a scrap book of us from the time we started dating to now, and it's very sweet and he put a bunch of hours into it and stuff. And he got me a pink flask with my initials on it, which I am very excited to use. And he got me a Coach bag. A FUCKING COACH BAG. Whaat? His aunt apparently buys damaged purses and sells them for a reduced price refurbished, and he got one from her. It's white with pink and purple and blue and brown on it, and it says "coach" really small. The damage is one tiny half an inch smudge. I love it. So Christmas was good to me this year.
I played hooky on Friday from work and went to Newhope with Jon, and got a fantastic lingerie set. And the horrible woman who worked in Grownups now owns a shop by the train station.. and she was surprisingly nice and helpful. So that's a plus. That evening, we went to see the Spirit, which I absolutely loved. Then we just kinda hung out and relaxed.
Saturday I got my hair cut, hung out with Ellory for awhile, then saw Mike Manahan and went on a creepy fog adventure. So much fun!
Sunday I thought I had work, but ended up not having work, so I worked on stuff for One Night Stand on Tuesday. I went on Ebay and found a pair of 27 inch black feather fans for $20 so I bid on them... but ended up losing. :(
Today Laura is comin over and we're gonna have a girl's day out followed by a fun girl's night! Yay!!

I have cramps. :( Owwww.
Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I went to breakfast with Nick, and ended up getting a $47 parking ticket for parking in a "permit only" zone. So awesome for that. But then came home and while cleaning I find some money I apparently put aside for... something? So that's pretty awesome. Ellory came over, and we headed to Laura's for a Bat-A-Thon, and we watched (kind of) Batman Begins, then took half of the Purity Test, and Jon came and joined us... then we went to SONIC! So awesome! Then we went back to Laura's and watched (most of) the Dark Knight. Jon came home with me and spent the night, and I got up and took a math test today (joy.)... nothing too thrilling.
This afternoon my mom and I did some Christmas shopping, and I got a lot done. Jon's mom's gift, a gift for his mom's dogs (she loves them so much...), and my Secret Satan gift, which I intend to add on to. I even want it myself.
I think that's it. I'm so tired right now. D:

I don't know why. But these get me every year.
For those of you who like a good love story:
And an internet horror classic:
I know I probably post A Christmas Gory every year... but it just gets me every time.

Today is that day where families get together and eat mass quantities of turkey and stuffing and fixin's and all that good stuff.
But why am I not remotely excited?
Oh wait, it's because I have to go to my dad's side of the family. I am very excited about the food aspect. My grandmother is a ridiculously amazing cook. But to my knowledge, none of my cousins will be there... at least the ones I get along with... so there's the whole thing of me being ignored, and my grandmother's house is just so fucking boring. And Dad doesn't know about my stint in the ER. Because honestly, it will probably be a thing with him including "Why didn't you call me?" "Why didn't mom call me?" "You should have told me..." blah blah blah.
Oh hey, remember the time he thought he was having a heart attack and I had to find out through town gossip?
But yeah... not looking forward to today whatsoever.
Wait.
Yes.
I want mass quantities of turkey and mashed potatoes.

Halloween has now come and gone. And I'm sad... because I couldn't hand out candy to the kids like I kinda really wanted to. I love seeing their little costumes so much. I actually saw a funny one before I left the house, this girl had a bunch of random clothing articles on with a sign that said "I AM PROTESTING. MY OUTFIT SHOULD HAVE WON ON PROJECT RUNWAY."
I have a really small porch though, and this huge cluster of about 10 kids all jumped up there at once to grab candy and one kid almost got pushed down the stairs. And of course in the front were their teenage sisters dressed as a bumble bee and a ladybug (I fucking hate the slutty insect costumes...BEES AND LADYBUGS... NOT SEXY. I AM SORRY).
But yesterday before the trick or treaters, I did some running around and put together a Hunter S Thompson costume for Jon between the Unique thrift store and one of the Halloween stores in my mall. Then I went to Hot Topic and found an Alice costume for $10. It was sweet.
Then I came home and got ready for my night, and Jon came around 5 and we headed out around 5:30. We surprisingly got to Brooklyn at 6:45 because we barely hit traffic.
When we got to the event we found the coordinator then got some pizza. We met some fantastic people (including a blind man in a gorilla suit) and the other burlesque dancer was very awesome and sweet. She was actually on America's Got Talent with her troupe from Utah ("MORMON BY DAY, BURLESQUE STAR BY NIGHT").
I did the new Down with the Sickness. And you know how there are hecklers at every show? They just happened to be two feet in front of me to the point that I could hear them and see their fat ugly disgusted faces. Basically, I wasn't taking clothes off fast enough, and when I did they wanted them back on. Apparently the crowd loved it, but it's hard to hear awesome cheers when you hear 3 people saying "Ugh. Ew. Put that back on. Put that away. That's fucking disgusting. Ugh."
We left soon after that because it was pretty late and we were all really tired and achey, but it was a really awesome Halloween. One of the best in years I'd say.
Now tonight, Manga Next in Somerset NJ! :D

Last night was AWESOME.
Aside from a couple of last minute costume tweaks, everything went awesome. Jon's friend Heather came with her brother, Cher and it was very awesome. We danced (I surprisingly didn't have a few drinks lol) and I felt really good about my performances. It sounded like Under the Sea went well (people giggled when I kicked and wiggled my "new" legs) and Down with the Sickness is always a smash. Beautiful People was creepy as fuck and I can't wait to see pictures or a video.
List of things to do today:
Clean up the yard (I decorated on Monday... and since then it's rained/snowed and the wind has blown them all over the yard)
Find a long red wig for Under The Sea for MangaNext
Unpack stuff from the WEBS show
Pack stuff for the Glitter Odessy tonight
Fold Laundry
(Maybe) Get stuff together for Manga Next
Put candy out for the kiddles! (I'm so sad I can't hand it out this year!)
Hope my pumpkins don't get smashed/stolen when I go out tonight.

I discovered it yesterday. It's cheesy, I know. But I find it cute.
I hope everyone had a good day yesterday.
During the day I watched half of Home Alone 2, Beauty and the Beast and some of Star Wars: A New Hope (I can't stand episode 1-3... Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford are the only way to go with that). Well, I was half watching all of them because I was working on Reiko the Zombie Shop vol. 2-4 getting ideas for when I go to the cons this summer. Reiko has a ton of easy costumes, but I guess the most recognizable would be the red sailor-schoolgirl-dress... but I really don't want to be mistaken as a Sailor Scout or something...
AJ took me out to dinner at a place near my house called "the Store." It had their typical overpriced Valentine's Day menu, then the "snowstorm menu." The menu there is typically a few pages, front to back. This particular menu was just front and back. Nothing really looked appetizing, and we were a little flustered about it. We ended up getting burgers, and then going to the diner for dessert. The cheesecake I ordered was melted and I saw John Travolta (aka the Bug Man... aka Chris... whatever you'd like to call him). We came home and watched Chobits, we had a really low-key night.
Today I don't have work since Aidan got really sick yesterday! I know it sounds awful to celebrate... I'm excited on the no work part, not the Aidan being ill part. So I wanna work on getting my Zombie stuff together for this weekend.
I'm totally excited for the con... everything worked out... We have a hotel (it's in Philly, but no big deal...) and we definitely have the tickets, we're just waiting for them to come in the mail. Hopefully today they'll come, since yesterday it was crazy outside.
I'm still tired, but can't go back to sleep. Whatevs.

So New Years Eve was okay. Not great but not terrible. We are cheesecake though, and it was delicious!
We saw something like 4,000 origami birds get dropped in the middle of Morristown at midnight, and I got a couple of them. It kinda broke my heart to see people walk up to the piles of the birds and grind their feet on them like they were garbage. :(
It was also funny, because @ 11:58 I got a text message from my cousin, and that's when the countdown started. They did the countdown 2 minutes early. Which cracked me up to no end.
Today's my dad's birthday. So we're going to eat dinner at his house. His road is flooded though, so we're going to have to park down the street and either have him pick us up via canoo (shut up I can't spell) or his truck or find some higher ground to walk on to get to his house. Barbara is joining us for dinner and my dad wants to talk to me about something. The worst combination of words ever: "We need to talk." But I know what it's about. He's just dragging me into business he has with my mom and the guy that works for her. He swears Juan is going to be a serial rapist/theif, so he told my mom that he was going to tell me every time I see him that if I ever see Juan, to leave wherever I am.
Not awkward at all.
And there's a banner to my right about selling Livejournal.com t-shirts. (Up to 35% off!)
There's a reason no one wants them.

So I accomplished most of my holiday shopping today. Like I put a nice dent in the obscene list of people.I'm really proud of myself. I also got out of work @ 4:30 today which was very nice, and Aidan informed me that I don't know how to dance, and then taught me how. And even drew me a diagram. Nice. Savvy and I also completely finished our dance today. It's gonna look good. I'm really excited for it. :)
