A birthday entry.

OMG!
Oh my GOD. I just want to say... it was the best birthday I have ever had. Mostly from a bunch of coincidences.

Thursday I went to Newhope with my mom, we got lunch, then I got my nose pierced. It was a random crazy decision, and hurt like a bitchcunt, but it's cute and my mom is hilarious about it. I then met up with Ellory on the train in Summit so we could go to the advance screening of Zombieland in Union Square. We got there obscenely early, and went to Forbidden Planet where I got a TokiDoki Zippo with a cute lion on it. <3 While in line, I checked my Twitter (shut up, it's addictive) and saw that Rishard was coming to Zombieland as well! We were let in, and we grabbed seats, and about 20 minutes later Rishard and Shawn showed up. So that was pretty awesome. The movie was beyond funny, and I wanna see it again, because I was laughing so hard I was missing stuff. After the movie we all went to Pomme Frite and then sat around in some random park and ate, then headed over to the screening of Paranormal Activity. The line was around, then down the damn block. Ellory and I headed out around 11, getting me finally back to my car about 1:15. Thank god we left, because apparently a small handful of people from that line were let into the screening. I hope it gets a wide release, cuz it definitely looked interesting.

Friday I got up late, which was nice. Super nice. Then mom, special guest Collin, and I all went booze/juice/party shopping. We found an awesome fire pit/chiminea thing on sale too. My friend Josh IMed me, telling me he had an extra ticket for Dave Attell at the Stress Factory, and asked if I wanted it, and I could just have it. So I totally jumped on that chance, and after the Wal Mart-ing, and bumming around with Nick for a little bit, I was off to New Brunswick to see Dave Attell... which was freaking awesome. We met him after the show and I gave him my business card. Very very cool.

Saturday was the day of "Blood Feast V.2". I woke up, and we all had to tackle the setting up of the tent since apparently some light rain was to happen that evening. Nick came over, and we were off to Wal Mart yet again to get him some stuff for his costume. He decided to be Steve Zissou. What that has to do with a Zombie Party is apparently irrelevant to Nick but whatever. We got back to my house around 6, Leah was here, I fed that damn cat I feed probably once a month down the street since the people are constantly going away, then we made alcoholic delicious punch. People started getting here around 8-8:30, and it was starting to drizzle. And it was COLD outside. But it was fine cuz we had the tent and stuff. My mom came home around 9:15, and there was already a good collection of people. My zombies came! We had everything from a Hunter from L4D to Suave Zombies, to Hooker Zombies, to Medical workers (I was a nurse and Collin came as a male nurse. We didn't plan this at all). Around 12:30-1am the rain and the freezing ness was way too much, and about 10-15 of us went inside to watch Dawn of the Dead and be drunk in there. And that is when this happened:

It was fantastic. Anyways, I probably passed out around 4:30 (shut up, Leah)... then onto Sunday:

Had a sweet hangover, and watched Anchorman and Forgetting Sarah Marshall with Collin and Laura M. My mom borrowed my car making me obscenely late for rehearsal with Val and Leah, then came the show at Verve. In my opinion: Huge success! It was a fantastic crowd. Everyone did very awesome! I had a great time! :D I got dinner afterwards with Nick, and then met up with PJ, Spaghetti, Andrew and Collin for about 20 minutes, but then went home to bed. I was exhausted. The week(end) finally hit me.

Today... I want to go to the mall to use my Bare Minerals gift card, then possibly bum around a bit before dinner at my dad's house for my birthday. Fun times!!

Oh and Val is pretty much the coolest ever for this reason:

What a weekend!!!

Ew!

Okays. So this weekend was definitely awesome. Friday I pretty much ran around with AJ getting decorations and stuff for my party. But interesting fact: My dad's mother is a bitch.

Gram: Are you coming to Uncle Rob's retirement party tomorrow?
Me: Um, no I'm not.
Gram: Wait, no. You're doing that thing tomorrow, right?

And by "thing" she meant my birthday party. Lovely woman. After that we went to Party City, then we went to Somerville to walk around. I especially love the costume store on Main Street, Trifle's and Treasures. I went there to get some fake mustaches for my Stache Bash, but 1 mustache cost between 3 and 4 dollars. So yeah. No. We then went back to my house where I helped AJ practice his Brad stuff, and he took a nap while I played video games. We then went to see Jackass. Which was fucking amazing. We saw it in a full theater and everyone was screaming, and laughing, and clapping. It was so much fun. Then I went to pick up Jordana and Marky at Drew and we went to the MoTown Diner. It was tons of fun, but then we went back home.

Saturday Jordana, AJ, and I all went to lunch then back to Party City, then to the A&P for some snacks for the party then home. I packed my bag and AJ took a nap. Jordana and I baked some cookies, and they were amazing. And we ate cookie dough. Around 4:30 we went to the hotel and set up for my party. My party definitely went very well. All my friends showed up, and we had a great time hangin out, listening to music and watching TV, until we all went down to the pool, where we terrorized that area.

After the party, it was off to the show. I was kind of nervous, though because my dad was coming, and he never knew about my tattoos. And I'm pretty much running around in my underwear all night so yeah. But he didn't see it the first time, so I didn't think he'd see it this time. I was wrong. He saw it when Riff and Magenta took our clothes. After Lab Scene my mom ran into the changing area, and I nearly died. But then she started to tell me that my dad saw my tattoo but she told him I got it 2 days ago for my 20th birthday. Pfft. So he acted fine, but I'm kind of nervous about seeing him one on one about it, cuz he tends to turn into a jerk sometimes.

But my birthday show was totally awesome, I love you George for being my Brad, and Lauren, I'm so sorry I hit you in the teeth. It was a night of injury for all. I almost wiped out on my Floor Show heels cuz we were running away from Genn as Riff Raff with the Space Gun.

Sunday was my actual birthday, and I had an amazing dinner with my mom, Phyllis, my Grandmere (my mom's mom), and AJ. My Aunt Deb (my dad's sister) called me and talked to for literally 30 seconds, then put my grandfather on the phone and he said, "Yeah happy birthday. Well, talk to you later... bye." and hung up. Lovely family. I know. My Gram (dad's mom) called me at 8:30 to wish me happy birthday and stayed on the phone for as little time as she could. My dad called me when he was on his way back from Delaware, he sounded either really tired, or really intoxicated. But whatever. I had a great birthday. And that's all that matters.

Ariel + Jasmine = Me + Nadia

Angie is making a very flattering face in the pool.

Das my cake. :D

My crazy Grandmere, My mom, me and the AJ

And uh, yeah. This is me stuck in a lifesaver.

Aiyeee!

Ew!
So it's 2 days til my birthday. I am in no way counting today. I'm so so excited! But there are 2 downers... actually 3.

1. My dad isn't going to be around on my birthday. He's going to be in Delaware watching NASCAR with his friend. "Yeah... Jim bought us finishline seats," and I said, "Yeah?" and he said, "Yeah... the only thing is, it's on your birthday. Are you mad?" He told me that @ the Pink Floyd show. I'm not mad, I'm just dissappointed. True fact. Then, he tells me on Wednesday, "Well, you're 20 years old... and I don't know what to get you for your birthday-" he's obviously ignored my hints about tickets to Wicked. Although he is officially not allowed to get me Broadway tickets anymore, after  he got me tickets to see Spamalot, that were in the 2nd balcony and I could only see the tops of the actor's heads... unless they were audience left "-would it be tacky to give you money?"

2. My aunt isn't going to be there. It's odd. She's my favorite aunt, but she's never really there. I can probably count the number of birthdays and big events in my life she was actually at on one hand. We have everything in common, yet she's never here for me. And she knows me so well, but she always gets me those presents that make one go, "Oh... thanks..." and I'm not a very greedy or material person, it's just when one knows another well, they should be able to  get them something they would truly enjoy. When I was a kid, she took me to the city to see Grease, Cats, the Lion King, and she took me to see Wicked for the first time. She seemed really excited when I lent her the book, but then I found out she barely read the first chapter. But yeah, she's not going to be here on my birthday because she's going to be in LBI. When my mom asked her why, she said, "Oh I thought Sandy was going away for her birthday?" She could have told my mom sooner than Thursday when this is all on Sunday. Her old excuse on Christmases and birthdays were, "Oh, is (Howard, Gram, Pop, Aunt Deb, Uncle Rob...anyone from my dad's side of the family) going to be there?" "Yes." "Then I'm not comfortable with being there." But now that I don't have Behre/Aerstin get togethers anymore, she's out of excuses. And that's really fucking dissappointing.

3. One of my best friends in the entire world, Stephanie can't see me in Rocky. She used to come, but then she met her boyfriend and we have barely seen each other since. She blames Erick but that's another story. But she promised me she'd come for my birthday. She promised up and down and over and over that she'd be there. But I knew she'd flake. She even said on Sunday, "Oh I don't know if I'll be able to make it to your party because I have to help my friend blah blah blah clean his house..." but then the time of the party got moved up, so she said she'd make the party but "her mom won't let her out on Saturday nights." Bullshit. I know this is bullshit because A) Her mom loves me and trusts me with Stephanie's life and B) Stephanie is always out every night for Tim. But never for me. Maybe her mom really doesn't wanna have her out on Saturday night... if that's the case then it's because with Stephanie hanging out with Tim and his friends, she gets all fucked up and forgets to come home, therefore- pissing her mother off. So now I have to give her a ride to and from my party before I go to Rocky, which is kind of annoying since her house is in the completely opposite direction.

So yeah. There's my LJ bitch of the week.

Hey guys!!!

Ew!

Okay... so I have to re-do this.

But I am having a birthday party this Saturday from 7-10 at the Courtyard Marriot in Basking Ridge. If you need directions or the address, call me. But all are invited. :) So come, bring your bathing suits, and swim and perhaps we will have a bit of a Stache Bash?

Or a Ron Bergundy Party... of course, I'm Ron Bergundy.

And Nadia just said, "You should have a Stache Bash Night @ Rocky...everyone wears mustaches.."

Ew!
Last night was amazing. As I said before. Aaron had an awesome time, and he met a boy but he's taken. I think? Idk. But he's gonna come back for my birthday show. :-D And people took lots of pictures! And today I have nothing at all planned, so far I'm sitting in my pajamas. And I'm cramping. Yay! Oh and I have a feeling my mom's getting me tickets to Beauty and the Beast... since she just came in and said, "Hey what theatre is Beauty and the Beast in? Can you look that up for me?" Scratch that, I am getting them. She doesn't know how to buy things online. She said, "Are you going to be home? Could you help me with that?...I didn't wreck the surprise did I?" Hahaahaa.

So yeah, the past couple of days were pretty cool. Tuesday began as a huge ass dissappointment... since it rained and all and we couldn't go to 6 Flags :( But we're gonna try and go next Tuesday instead. But instead of 6 Flags, we went to lunch @ TGI Fridays then went to Toys R Us and walked around. I ended up buying Trivial Persuit, SNL edition for five bucks. Pretty sweet. Then I went over to AJ's house and hung out. Yesterday Mike came down and we went down to Red Bank to Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash to get my mom her birthday present: an official Buddy Christ T shirt that reads "Got Christ?" at the bottom of his picture. Then I went to my dad's house, and we went to dinner then we saw the Dark Side of the Moon laser show at my college, which definitely kicked ass. Today's my mom's birthday, and she loved her present. And tonite Sarah, Lauren and I are going into the city to see a show. Which is gonna be pretty damn sweet. And tomorrow AJ and I are planning a Newhope Adventure.

But one thought is kinda hangin in my head:

"Damn... summer's over..."
