About a month ago Ellory told me G4 was bringing back "Woman of the Web" and opening it up to anyone to enter. So we whipped up an interview, he did some fancy editing, and somehow I made it into the top voting... and it's making me crazy. I should be posting here about my first day of work, which wasn't terrible but not great. Boring. Tedious. Collin's dad is away for the week. I think until Thursday or Friday. So we have the house to ourselves, but my body clearly hates me. So no loud obnoxious sexytime until (of course) dad comes back. Fab! But yeah, I got into the "finals" I guess for this contest. And it's literally neck and neck. Me against this girl Katrina "Action Chick". She has a website and a Twitter with some crazy thousand+ followers. And she was on G4 for Dallas Comic Con. Like she covered it or something. And she's plain looking. Not exactly ugly (one girl looks like a 12 year old boy, one girl looks (and acts 14) and other girls were just kinda... fake) but not pretty. She's just plain. And she's super nice. Why the shit is she so nice? Ellory made a post about me on a G4 board, and she took it over but then did a PS on how cute I am and stuff. It was like that girl thing, where you're super nice, but underneath you hate their guts. Because seriously, we are each other's competition. So I did some stalking, started following her and now she's tweeting me and she's super nice saying we should both win because that would be awesome and now she's telling her thousands of followers to vote for the girl they want to win, even if it's not her. And now they're back to the "vote for me!" and it's just getting overly stupid... and then this bitch posted a comment on my submission that I make her want to vomit because of my stomach fat... I know I'm not fat. I know I know I know. I'm not trying to pityparty. I'm not trying to guily anyone. I'm just being stupid about all of this stupid crap.
I'm opening tomorrow at Macy's. I was moved to Accessories... which is fantastic... But all I can think of is "holy crap 8 hours where I can't vote on my video and I won't know how I'm doing until I get home... fuck." I think the last day is Friday. Or Monday. Either way. I want it to be over.
All I know is when I lose, it's going to suck hard.

This happened to me before, I was getting the newspaper, and he slipped by me, but he literally froze underneath the stairs for the other condo, so I was able to just grab him/shoo him back inside.
Last night, Collin and I stopped at the house around 1am. We wanted a quiet night in, so we were just going to crash there, since I'm completely allowed and stuff. We were bringing things in the house, and I kept my eye on the cat. He was sitting behind me in the living room, while I had the door to the garage, plus the garage door, open. I ran out into the garage for a hot second, then turned to see he was gone. Now, the cat is easily spooked so I wasn't going to panic yet. We combed the house, and he was out. I didn't panic, though. I knew he'd just come around to the front. So we waited in the kitchen (me pacing), for the cat to show up on the front porch, and soon enough, I opened the door to see him peeking around the house. It was 1:30am. The temperature was dropping. And it was starting to rain. This complex also isn't the greatest lit. So I did that psspsspss noise, and he just kinda stared at me. So I went outside and held out my hand and kinda crept towards him calling him. When I got close enough, he hissed and swiped at me. Okay, so that wasn't working. I went inside to get a bag of treats to shake, cuz that seems to work on every other pet with a stomach. I stood on the porch shaking it, didn't work. I tried to grab him again, he hissed at me. Didn't work. Collin told me that he'd try and chase the cat in the house if I held the door open. I told him to please not do that, because he's scared. He'll just run away. He was convinced that if he got the cat to run in the direction of the door, he'd run inside. All would be well. We could go to sleep. I told him not to again, and went in the house to put the treats away. Then I hear bushes rustling, and "shit." I go outside, Collin's standing there with an "I fucked up" look... the cat bolted. It was dark. It was raining. It's a black cat. I'm furious. And panicked. What the fuck do I do? We tried to look for him, but it was just too dark. So I sat on the stairs in front of the door til about 3:30 in the morning, and eventually just went to sleep. Collin woke up every hour to check to see if he had come back, and surprise, he hadn't. I woke up around 9am, and walked around the entirety of the complex, and didn't see him. I put some food in a bowl on the porch, cuz he had to get hungry sometime, and nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Hours passing. Nothing. Collin got up, had to run some errands, and brought back some Chinese food. I was getting very upset/nervous/panicked over this cat. It was getting on 12 hours he's been missing, and I had to contact the owners. Because all they said is he "tries" to get out. Or he'll get out and just come back in. So has he ever just... ran? So I swallowed my pride around 2:30, and called the owners who are down in Disney having the time of their lives right now, and to my shock, the conversation went as this:
Phil: "Hi Sandy, how are you?"
Me: "Hi Phil... um... Sergei ran off last night."
P: "Oh no. Well. He'll come back."
Me: "...what?"
P: "He does this. We know he loves us, and we love him, but we're pretty sure he doesn't want to live with us forever. He runs outside a lot, sometimes for a really long time. So don't worry yourself."
Me: "But he's been gone since last night."
P: "Yeah. We have neighbors he sometimes gets caught by. But he does this."
Me: "I even sat up til about 4am waiting for him to come back..."
P: "Oh don't do that! There's no need to do that!"
Me: "I put food out on the porch..."
P: "Nope. Don't do that, if you do that he'll eat and leave. Why don't you bring the food back in the house, and come back in a few hours and he'll probably be sitting on the front porch waiting for you to feed him, then bring him in."
Me: "The phone has rang a couple of times in the past hour though, could he have been caught?"
P: "If he gets caught by the neighbors they have our cell, but I'll call the voicemail to make sure it's not animal control. I will call you in a little bit. Go home. Get some rest. He'll be back, I promise. If he doesn't come back by tonight, we'll figure something out. Okay?"
...What? I stayed up all night panicking, and freaking out, and crying, and angry... to find out from the owner to just go home? So I left around 3:15, after hearing back that no one has called about him. I took a nap, and I'm about to go over there to see if he's back... I'm afraid he's gone for good.
I hope not.
